Before you have the Reserve It Now function integrated onto your website, you will need to set up a PayPal Business account. Due to data protection and this being your business account, our Spidersnet team will not be able to set this up for you.

We have put together a step-by-step guide into setting up a business account which you can follow below:
- Go to https://www.paypal.com/uk/business/getting-started – (do not create an account from paypal.com directly, as it will be a US-based account, defaulting to USD currency).
- Click on ‘Sign Up’.
- Go through the step by step process for the main account setup, especially verification of the email address.
- After a couple of minutes of account set up, read all further email communications from PayPal.
- Proceed with full business account verification, by visiting “Notifications”
There might be multiple steps required, at Paypal’s discretion:
- Adding your bank account
- Validating your bank account
- Adding Direct Debit information
Additionally, Paypal might require proof of address, proof of ID, and potentially other steps. All account-related validation is solely at Paypal’s discretion and strictly for the dealer to complete.
It’s worth noting, based on PayPal’s trust algorithms, PayPal might request additional information after a couple of days or when the account starts receiving incoming payments. PayPal Business Account set up might take a couple of days, especially when bank transfers to validate the bank account are particularly slow.
